FAQs
What services do you offer?
Many reasons might bring you to therapy, like anxiety, depression, overwhelm, grief, transitions, relationships, trauma recovery, or feeling stuck and unsure of how to move forward. I work with individuals, couples, poly-identified folks, families, and chosen families. Individual sessions are 50-minutes and multi-client sessions are typically 75-minutes. I am available Mondays, Wednesdays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays 9am-5pm and have some availability in evenings. I am currently meeting clients virtually and in-person at Danforth East Wellness (Danforth/Coxwell). I am happy to serve those who live in rural areas and have limited access to services in their own communities. As a supervised Registered Psychotherapist , I meet regularly with an experienced psychotherapist who offers me guidance on my work. I am not able to offer emergency or 24/7 services, but have included some resources below.
What kind of training do you have?
I have a Certificate in Psychotherapy from the Toronto Center for Psychotherapy and Counselling Education. I am engaged with ongoing training outside of this program as well, including the completion of a Certificate in Narrative Therapy from the Vancouver School of Narrative Therapy, a Certificate in Mindfulness at the End-of-Life from the University of Toronto Continuing Education, and workshops and seminars in Internal Family Systems (IFS).
How do I book a session or consultation with you?
I am currently booking sessions through Danforth East Wellness in Toronto, so you can either email me by clicking the button below to schedule a brief phone consultation or you can book a session online at: https://danfortheastwellness.ca/our-practitioners/
What are your fees?
My fee is $160 for 50-minute sessions and $185 for 75-minute individual, couple, or family sessions. I also offer a sliding-scale for clients who are not in the financial position to pay the full amount. Feel free to ask me about this before we start working together or if your circumstances change along the way.
Are your services covered by insurance or OHIP?
If psychotherapy is covered by your private insurance or work benefits my services may be covered under the billing number of my supervisor. This number and a receipt will be provided upon payment. Psychotherapy is not covered by OHIP.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask that any cancellation provides at least 24-hour notice, otherwise the full session amount will be charged. You can cancel your session by emailing me.
